Hi ! My name is Han. I graduated at the Polytechnic of 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands in January 1993 as an electrical engineer (B.Sc.).

My first job was at NRS (now PRS in Waardenburg with new management) where I helped improve a Belgian cash-register program so it could be used in the Netherlands for big supermarket chains as KonMar and PhiCoop ('Mix&Match'), Super and Kruidvat ('Rocks') and others. Often I went to Brugge in Belgium to work at Sycron, the company that started this program. At NRS I learned a lot, especially how not to run a company. After 2,5 years I left and my life began at OMN in 's-Hertogenbosch as a network administrator and programmer for 'checkers'...

In 1998 I worked for the US based third party transportation and logistics company 'C.H. Robinson' (see 'The Minnesota Connection') as a System Engineer. I installed new software and administered the networks and computers in their European offices. For this job I moved to Tervuren, 12 kilometres from the centre of Brussels, close to the office at Zaventem in Belgium. (And because the Belgian license plates matched better with my former red car, a 100hp Peugeot 106 Ralley).

But in Februari 1999 I decided to move back to my hometown Zaltbommel in the Netherlands and picked up working for Omron Manufacturing of Netherlands again (also as a System Engineer). For OMN I write software to test the products made in the factory. Occasionally I assist the network administrators.

My hobbies: Tennis, Speed skating, Roller blading, Canoeing on the river Waal (Rhine) , Space & Aviation, Science Fiction, Computers.
