Dunwizz is a small program special for ISP's or just 'lazy administrators' ;=))).
It can make Dialup-Networking entries for you very easy. Just make a *.lex file and then run 'dunwizz.exe *.lex'
Start 'dunwizz create' to create a *.lex-file
You can choose your modem or ISDN-adapter or other connecting device and the entry is made.
This is the first version and it should work fine with Win95(OSR2)/98/NT4.0., but I will still implemet some nice things to it ,If you asked me.
Changes will be made, especially more switches: Mail me if you want them.
Now also with language.ini so you can translate
it to your own language.
If you did so, mail me your file, so I can put it in here.
This is MAIL-ware, you must mail me first, so I know you are using it.
When no-one is using it, I won't make any fixes for it :-)
You can contact me at lex@globalxs.nl
A *.lex file must contain the following lines in the following order:
ConnectionName
Country-ID
Country-ID
CountryCode
AreaCode
TelephoneNumber
IP-Adress
Primary NameServer
Secondary NameServer
Primary WINSServer
Secondary WINSServer
Connecting Device
Kind of Connecting Device
All these things are now implemented !!
May 1999 Release
DunWizz is based on a test prog written by Davide Moretti
(dave@rimini.com)
Januar 2000 Some fixes
Jay Kapadia, Bombay, India, asked me to translate DunWizz, so I
added the language.ini-file.
When it is not present, the dutch language will appear. Sorry,
but I'm Dutch... ;-)
21-03-2000
William Kasberg & Kyu-Rudolf Sperling asked me to add the
IP-adress & Nameservers, so when I had some spare time, I've
added those things too.
Some persons contacted me to make special
builds for their companies. I can do it, but that will cost some
money.
Drop me a mail if you want such a special.
30-11-2000:
Carl Edwards wanted to set a default connecting device for some
reason, so why not? I just implemented it, because perhaps more
people like this.
I'm thinking of those lazy domain-administrators: they can do
their jobs much easier.... ;-))
