Past week I read "Beyond Heaven's River" by Greg Bear, what follows here is the brief summary to give you an idea of what the book is about.
The story is about a second world war Japanese fighter pilot. He has been kidnapped by mysterious creatures from outer space and is found 400 years later by Anna Nestor, a notorious space traveller. She takes the confused Yoshio in and teaches him the ways of mankind's future. Of course they fall in love and what happens then I cannot possibly tell without ruining the fun you would have reading it. I can say though that I found it a very good book, it was about people as well as excellent Science Fiction. I can recommend reading it!!!
